The City of Ripon has many places of interest to visit within a short walk including the Catherdral, the Racecourse and the three museums - Courthouse, Prison & Police and Workhouse. There is an outdoor market once a week on a Thursday and the beautiful towns of Knaresborough and Harrogate are close by.

Newby Hall, visit Newby Hall and Gardens in Ripon, setting for Jane Austen's Mansfield Park and enjoy a superb day out for all the family.

Ripley Castle, Ripley Castle has extensive walled gardens a Regency conservatory and landscape designed by Capability Brown, it is a popular venue for weddings and open air concerts.

Brimham Rocks, is a unique collection of eroded rock covering an area of about 50 acres, in the care of the National Trust.

Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal, the perfect place to escape from it all and enjoy a great, full day out, there’s so much to see and do at Fountains and Studley. Stump Cross Caverns (approximately 20 miles away), is one of Britain's premier show caves, located in Nidderdale on the border of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Harrogate itself just 10 miles away with such delights as the Valley Gardens, the Conference Centre the Turkish Baths and of course it's shopping centre. It is also just a short ride to the heart of Nidderdale for those of you who enjoy the open countryside.
